Our dog had some kidney stones removed. Vet said Hills Prescription Diet food from now on. ?

Our dog has many kidney stones removed recently (it was not even 5 yet) and I'm curious to know the objective best choice of food. The vet of course recommended Prescription Diet Hill which is close to the veterinarian's office. I'm just looking for some options.

Bob C, she said kidney stones, bladder stones NOT.

Hills Prescription Diet dog food is nothing but CRAP. I am steadfast Veterinary get a cut of everything they sell.

Are there any known side effects with hills prescription diet dog food.
My spaniel has been put on this from our vet, since this she has succeed out in what looks like septic spots.
Any advice?

Can someone alleviate me with this intractable. I have been feeding my dachshunds
Technique Diet dog food for 15 years now. Yesterday I found out that they are cheating me out of 5 lbs of food now for the same charge as 40.00
They are now selling 35 lbs. 15 years ago it was 50 lbs of dog food. And it slowly went to 40 lbs. Last month I bought 40 lbs and my Daughter Inlaw yesterday bought a 35 lb bag for the same charge as 40 lbs at the same preserve I buy from. Is there another dog food with the same ingredients as Expertise Diet Chief that would be a heartier buy for the wherewithal? I scarcely can't see paying that much hard cash for less dog food.
