None of these dogs are Pit Bulls or even ‘archetype’. None are owned by dog fighting thugs. None have ever had a complaint made against them. None have ever harmed anyone, or even so much as growled at someone.
Why is the Common Kingdom randomly, discriminantly and arbitrarily seizing dogs—prized family pets— and killing them because of how they look?
The world became knowing of the discriminatory legislation with the plight of Lennox, a family’s dog who was seized in May 2010 after dog wardens came to the family well-informed in to do a license check, took out their tape measure and deemed that the five-year-old remedy dog for a 11-year-old girl, disabled with chronic asthma, looked like a pit bull and therefore was a precarious dog.
Lennox was ordered euthanized. His family lost their application but has submitted new legal arguments to the court, trying to saving the dog’s sustenance. There has been a worldwide publicity and awareness campaign mounted in an deed to save Lennox.
