Does anyone have any ideas about litter box training ferrets? I have 4 and only one uses the litter box. I was told that the one will show the others but no chance. Any advice?
Over the sixteen years of owning ferrets, I've dealt with many problems but none as recurring as the potty training. I'm true you already know that ferrets like to go in the corners first then along the walls.
mine always goes in the corner and if i put a litter box in that corner they'll scarcely go next to it.
put the ferret in the box when you can divulge he is about to go. Then, when he does go in the box, give him a treat. Get that ferret oil, i cant remember the name, and a squeky toy. squeke toy, put oil on toy, give to ferret. That way, you can call him too.
