Does anyone have any knowledge on retraining a cat to use the litter box?

I be familiar with that illness and stress (both of which my cat has experienced) can cause a cat to not use the litter box. Does anyone have any ideas on how most excellently for me to retrain him to use it? Thanks for your input.
When the pretty pickle that caused him to stop using the box is resolved, he should start using it again on his own. You can lift him out by placing him in the box if you notice he's trying to defecate/urinate in unbefitting places to remind him that's where he needs to go.

retraining a cat to use the litter box?
Dec 22, 2009 by Tiffany | Posted in Cats
i got a kitten from the spca a few months ago. They said she was littler box trained and she was worthy the first few days. Since then though she pees all over the house, she has already ruined my hardwood floors, one of my couches and tons of casual stuff. I don't want to
Keep her confined in a selfish area with the liter box for a few days, and keep it clean, she will remember to use it.
