whats the best way to control cat litter box odor in small spaces?

i stay in an apartment where i rent a room. the cat is allowed to roam of one's own volition but due to my landlords having a 1 year old, the litter box stays in my room. i pure it as i should but theres still the lingering odor of cat litter in my room and id like it gone.
I use newfangled step crystal litter, and its amazing.
We can stick our noses in our cats litter box and still not get a whiff of a thing.
It is a little bit more expensive then other litter, but well worth it.

is it a good idea to mix gold bond powder with baking soda for litter box odor control. LOTS OF ANSWERS QUICK?

IS THIS Unpolluted FOR MY 8 WEEK OLD KITTENS LITTER BOX. WILL IT HELP. I KNOW I CAN GET THAT ARM AND HAMMER DEODERIZER Shove BUT THIS IS WAY WAY CHEAPER AND SEEMS LIKE IT WOULD WORK BETTER TOO. SO IS THIS SAFE AND DO YOU Dream IT IS A GOOD IDEA. ALSO I HAVE USED REGULAR BABY
