I vigorous in a pretty small apartment and have to keep the litterbox in the bathroom. Let me bring to light you - it is NOT fun to get out of the shower and step right into crunchy litter on the floor.
Try to find another comedones in your apartment where you could move it. I have been there, and I know it's gross--I also tried the useless mat.

One of them, I have not been competent to figure out who the culprit is, is now all of sudden "missing" the litter box when urinating. No problems before and I disinfected the litter daily and change totally monthly. Any thoughts?
inopportune elimination is a huge red flag that something is wrong in the cat's world. More often then not it is medical, and you will for to get them in to the vet for a check up to find out which one is having the issue (my money is on the younger masculine though)
