Why is my cat suddenly using my furniture for a litter box?

I have a 2 year old female cat and I've had her since she was about 4 weeks old (her mom died, that's why I got her so under age). She has always been great about using her litter box, but now, in the last week or so, she has started using my sofa instead of the box.....

Unsuitable elimination is often your cat's way of saying "help me, I'm sick" so a operate to your vet is your first step.

Litter box problems are very frustrating for all.....human and feline.

Hi. I'm pensive of getting a litter box container (furniture) to hide my kitties' litter boxes. But I over I read somewhere that cats may not like this cause it's too dark favoured and it traps the smell. As good as that last part sounds good to me, I don't judge the kitties
