Can you get a disease from a cat litter box that will cause you to go blind?

My mom is growing to make me get rid of my cat because she doesn't want to go blind. Whats the chances of this occurrence?
It is people like your Take care of that abuse animals that make the world the way it is. The cat has done nothing wrong, and how will it redress to a new home or even find one. Because she doesn't like the litter box.

i undefiled litter box and i just wanted to know how high of a risk is there
Don't take chances, its not a without a doubt of risk, because if its 1 in 10,000 it won't matter if its you. Wearing a good false colours and gloves would help I suppose, but ask you doctor and your vet to see if there is anything else you can do to minimize your peril, of course
