There are five of them. Mother cat has her own box. I'm not indubitable if all are using the box yet or not...it's only been a few days that I introduced all of these new things to them. Mother still nurses them. Some people say cats like their own litter box.
If you can't straight the tray everytime one of them has used it (just get rid of the dirty bit) then yes get more than one.
