My 10 year old cat no longer reacts to the Vetsulin prescribed for his diabetes.?

A curve was performed by the veterinarian. Its levels have been as strong as 600. It wasn't responding to Vetsulin longer. The vet changed him to a charity of insulin action, it has not made a difference. Is anyone familiar with this dilemma?
I have heard of insulin are no longer convincing. Switching insulins usually helps, and you may have to try a few different types. Have you tried Lantus? It is also a man insulin, and it's quite expensive, but I think it's one of the best insulin for cats.

Can Humolog Insulin be substituted for Vetsulin in dogs?

Our dog has been diagnosed as diabetic. We have access to somewhat inexpensive sources of Humolog insulin and would like to use it in appointment of the Vetsulin (Insulin for Animals) that our Veterinarian has prescribed. Can the substatution be made and will the effects and
I suppose it can, but you will have to have your vet calculate the dosage. The dosage and intervals between injections are not the same, as I summon.
There have been a lot of problems with Vetsulin, but more in cats than dogs. Its effect is now a bald curve
