My cat licked Revolution flea control.She was already sick and the vet put it on her but she moved ?

The vet put Revolution flea put on my already vomiting cat.But she squirms and he got his back.She is now a cat e-collar to prevent licking of it.But it is not eating or drink with the collar. The vomiting ceased.

I put the flea medication Revolution on my cat on Friday and i didn't see any fleas on him until tonight i saw one crawling on him. Aren't they all meant to be gone within 36 hours? I dont know whats up but i heard Revolution worked important....?
