Is it safe to have an outdoor aviary, I raise birds and want to give them a summer home but worry about safety

I started breeding birds in S. Florida. Since I moved to the North I had to move my operations inside. I want to move outside of the summer, but here we have the foxes and raccoons and snakes ect. Will they try to eat my birds? Do not use mothballs?
