Is it true that if I feed my yellow canaries red factor egg food they will turn orange?

I reviewed it are true red factor canaries that are naturally orange color must be supplied to make the dark red or they will turn a pale orange. However, food will color every effort for a natural canary yellow? The supplement is Quiko Red Egg Food. Thank you!
